Tickets

Secure your tickets here for «THE MATTERHORN STORY». Please take your time during the booking process. If you require assistance with your booking, we are available by phone at 027 527 01 50 during the following hours:

 

  • Monday to Friday from 9:00 am – 5:30 pm

Persons in wheelchairs receive a free ticket for our performances. Bookings only by telephone.

Our Ticket Options

You can assemble your tickets with the following three components:

 

  • Theatre admission fee to Europe's highest open-air theatre: CHF 85.00

  • Train journey Zermatt-Riffelberg-Zermatt: CHF 45.00 (standardised  special rate, season tickets cannot be taken into account)

  • Or day ticket train Zermatt-Gornergrat-Zermatt: CHF 70.00 

  • Delicious theatre menu in Restaurant Riffelhaus (with meat or vegetarian) with a magnificent view of the Matterhorn: CHF 70.00 ( excluding drinks)

For your individual journey to Zermatt, you also have the opportunity to benefit from exclusive and attractive discounts of our partners SBB RailAway and BLS Autoverlad. Please select the relevant offers and you will receive all the information in your confirmation email.

Are you interested in combining your visit to the Freilichtspiele Zermatt with an overnight stay in Zermatt? You can select this option as well, and we will send you further information with your booking confirmation.

 

Please note these are special train trips. Therefore, the train ticket is mandatory for all theatre visitors (GA, half-fare and day passes are not valid).

  • Select seat(s)

  • Select train ride Zermatt – Riffelberg - Zermatt

  • Add culinary options (optional)

  • Add surcharge for the Gornergrat day pass (optional)

  • At payment, click «Would you like to redeem a voucher code?»

  • Enter the complete voucher code (letters and numbers)

  • In case of additional bookings, the difference can be paid online.
